Clay stone is one of the oldest cleaners in the world. Made of fine clay, soap, and vegetable oils, it works through gentle abrasion: the micro-particles lift away grime without damaging surfaces. Combined with black soap, it becomes even more effective on grease.
Two natural allies, two complementary uses
Clay stone comes in the form of a solid paste. It contains clay (abrasive), vegetable soap (degreaser), and sometimes essential oils. It cleans through mechanical abrasion, without any harsh chemical products. Black soap is a vegetable-based soap made from linseed or olive oil - alkaline, degreasing, and cleansing. Together, they combine the mechanical abrasion of the stone with the degreasing action of the soap. It's the cleaner of choice for anything encrusted that must not be scratched.

The clay stone cleans through mechanical abrasion, without any harsh chemical products. The sponge does the work, the stone provides the grain.
What you can clean with this duo
STAINLESS STEEL AND CERAMIC SINKS - Apply the clay stone with a damp sponge, rub in circles, rinse. Shiny result without chemical products.
FAUCETS AND MIXER TAPS - Light limescale deposits, water traces, stains: the stone lifts them off without scratching the metal.
POTS AND PANS (exterior and bottom) - The stone tackles exterior encrustations and burnt residue. Do not use on non-stick coatings.
BATHROOM FIXTURES - Toilet bowl, bathtub edges, shower tray: deep cleaning of resistant deposits.
GLASS-CERAMIC HOB - With caution, on burnt stains. Rub very gently and rinse immediately.
Instructions for use
1. Dampen a sponge or soft cloth.
2. Lightly rub the surface of the stone to pick up a bit of the paste.
3. Rub the surface to be cleaned using circular motions.
4. Rinse thoroughly with clean water.
For stubborn stains: let the paste sit for 5 to 10 minutes before scrubbing.

Conclusion
Clay stone and black soap are exceptional cleaners for hard, resistant surfaces. Effective, economical (a single stone lasts a very long time), low waste, non-toxic. Their only limitation: fragile or non-stick surfaces.
Tip
A single clay stone can last several months, even with intensive use. Store it away from moisture to prevent it from becoming too soft.
